Waynetown - Mrs. Blanche Sennett, 76, died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday at her home in Waynetown. She had been in failing health for two years and seriously ill since March 17 of this year. Born Aug 1, 1888, near Morris, Ill, she was the daughter of Francis J. and Jennie Vreeland Ripley. She was educated at Hoopeston, Ill. She was married to Clarence a. Sennett on Jan 29, 1914. He preceded her in death Jan 14, 1943. The couple moved to a farm near Waynetown in 1927. She had lived at her present home in Waynetown 17 years. Mrs. Sennett was a member and active worker in the Waynetown Methodist Church. She was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service. Survivors include a daughter, Lois Sennett, at home; a son Merle of near Waynetown; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Izetta Sennett and four grandchildren, Caroly, Clarke, Charlene and Mary. Other survivors include a stepmother, Mrs. Bertha Ripley of Wellington, Ill and four brothers: Irving Ripley of Monticello, Ind; Charles Ripley of Packston, Ill; Lyle Ripley of Hoopeston, Ill and William Ripley of Danville, Ill. Funeral services wil be held at 2 p.m. saturday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown; Rev. Ray F. Rhoda will officiate. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
